Ebenezer Bothwell married Mary Gamble, daughter of John Gamble and Margaret McGill Lawson, on 14 August 1811. Ebenezer Bothwell appeared on the census of 1820 at p. 292, Jefferson Co., Georgia. He appeared on the census of 1830 at Monroe Co., Georgia. He appeared on the census of 1840 at Jefferson Co., Georgia. He appeared on the census of 1850 at p. 356 (listed as "Ebbin"), Jefferson Co., Georgia; listed as being 58 years of age and owning land valued at $4,000. They are listed on page 156 in Jefferson Co., GA. He lived after 1850 at moved the family from Jefferson Co. to, Dooly Co., Georgia. He died in 1891.
