He married Elizabeth Parker in 1860. As of 1880, Henry Tyler Chrisman also went by the name of Tyler Chrisman. He was buried in 1893 at Elbow Creek Cemetery, Tulare County, CA. He died on 16 March 1893 at Visalia, CA, at age 62.

      Elizabeth Parker also went by the name of "Lizzie." Her married name was Chrisman. She was born on 25 November 1843 at Arkansas. She married Henry Tyler Chrisman, son of Job Chrisman and Sarah France, in 1860. As of 1880, Elizabeth Parker also went by the name of Lizzie Chrisman. She was buried in 1882 at Elbow Creek Cemetery, Tulare County, CA. She died on 7 September 1882 at Visalia, CA, at age 38.

"Grandfather Vasilios had [2 brothers], I believe. One brother was named Constantinos and two of his sons, "Uncle Jim" and "Uncle Spiros" also came to the U.S. and ended up in Merced. (Spiros was Dino Barbis' father. His widow Helen still lives in Alameda.) Another brother was Nicolaos... "[whose daughters were Tassia and Hariklia].
"Another interesting thing -- Our grandmother's name was also Varvitsiotis. I was told that her father, Soterios, admired our grandfather so much that he changed his last name to Varvitsiotis. Soterios had a son, Panayiotis ("Pete") who also came to the U.S. and lived in Merced. Uncle Angelo and Uncle Pete went back to Greece in 1936 to find brides. My mother, brother Bill, my kid brother Milton and I accompanied them (but that's another story). Angelo married Katina and came back to Visalia. Pete married also, but stayed in Greece. (Uncle Pete was Sam Harkiss' mother's brother.)."

     Dimitrios Varvitsiotis died at Xylokastro, Greece. He was born at Manna (Markasi), Korinthos, Greece. He was the son of Vasilios Dimitriou Varvitsiotis and Maria Varvitsioti. Dimitrios Varvitsiotis married Theodora Mezoti.

      Miltiades Basil Varvitsiotis was also known as Mike Barbis. He married Dina Stika. Miltiades Basil Varvitsiotis was born on 30 January 1889 at Manna (Markasi), Korinthos, Greece. He was the son of Vasilios Dimitriou Varvitsiotis and Maria Varvitsioti. Miltiades Basil Varvitsiotis was naturalized on 16 May 1923 at Visalia, CA. He died on 14 June 1961 at Oakland, Alameda County, CA, at age 72.

      Athanasios Varvitsiotis was also known as Athan T. "Tom" Barbis. He married Amelia Vernazza. Athanasios Varvitsiotis was born on 9 January 1892 at Manna (Markasi), Korinthos, Greece. He was the son of Vasilios Dimitriou Varvitsiotis and Maria Varvitsioti. Athanasios Varvitsiotis died on 17 May 1974 at Oakland, Alameda County, CA, at age 82.

      Constantinos Varvitsiotis also went by the name of Costas. He was born circa 20 January 1893 at Manna (Markasi), Korinthos, Greece. He was the son of Vasilios Dimitriou Varvitsiotis and Maria Varvitsioti. Constantinos Varvitsiotis married Efthalia Koroni, daughter of Nikolaos Koroni and Katherine (?), on 29 May 1929. Constantinos Varvitsiotis died on 8 August 1992 at Athens, Greece.

     Andreas Varvitsiotis was born in 1900 at Manna (Markasi), Korinthos, Greece. He was the son of Vasilios Dimitriou Varvitsiotis and Maria Varvitsioti. Andreas Varvitsiotis married Sophia Kavetsou, daughter of Nikolaos Kavetsou and Fotini (?), in 1929 at Xylokastro, Greece. Andreas Varvitsiotis died in 1962 at Xylokastro, Greece.

     Efthalia Koroni was born in 1907 at Xylokastro, Greece. She was the daughter of Nikolaos Koroni and Katherine (?). As of 29 May 1929,her married name was Varvitsioti. Efthalia Koroni married Constantinos Varvitsiotis, son of Vasilios Dimitriou Varvitsiotis and Maria Varvitsioti, on 29 May 1929. Efthalia Koroni died in 1950 at Xylokastro, Korinthos, Greece.

     Vasilis Varvitsiotis was born on 15 December 1930 at Xylokastro, Greece. He was the son of Constantinos Varvitsiotis and Efthalia Koroni. Vasilis Varvitsiotis married Litsa Dilara, daughter of Sotiros Dilara and Zafiroyla (?), on 5 March 1977 at Xylokastro, Greece. Vasilis Varvitsiotis died on 11 November 1987 at Xylokastro, Greece, at age 56.

     Maria Varvitsioti is the daughter of Constantinos Varvitsiotis and Efthalia Koroni. Maria Varvitsioti married Zacharias Emiris, son of Ioannis Emiris and Margarita Georgoudi, on 17 December 1964 at Athens, Greece.

     Katerina Varvitsioti is the daughter of Constantinos Varvitsiotis and Efthalia Koroni.

     Litsa Dilara is the daughter of Sotiros Dilara and Zafiroyla (?). Litsa Dilara married Vasilis Varvitsiotis, son of Constantinos Varvitsiotis and Efthalia Koroni, on 5 March 1977 at Xylokastro, Greece.

     Constantinos Varvitsiotis is the son of Vasilis Varvitsiotis and Litsa Dilara.

     Sotiris Varvitsiotis is the son of Vasilis Varvitsiotis and Litsa Dilara.

     Zacharias Emiris was born on 19 July 1933 at Alexandria, Egypt. He was the son of Ioannis Emiris and Margarita Georgoudi. Zacharias Emiris married Maria Varvitsioti, daughter of Constantinos Varvitsiotis and Efthalia Koroni, on 17 December 1964 at Athens, Greece. Zacharias Emiris died on 28 August 2005 at Athens, Greece, at age 72.

     Ioannis Zacharias Emiris is the son of Zacharias Emiris and Maria Varvitsioti. Ioannis Zacharias Emiris married Sofia Leka on 16 September 2000 at Xylokastro, Korinthos, Greece.

     Thalia Emiri is the daughter of Zacharias Emiris and Maria Varvitsioti. Thalia Emiri married Dimitris Laliotis on 21 September 2002 at Xylokastro, Greece.

     Her married name was BARBIS. Dina Stika married Miltiades Basil Varvitsiotis, son of Vasilios Dimitriou Varvitsiotis and Maria Varvitsioti. Dina Stika was born on 26 October 1902 at Xylokastro, Greece. She died on 28 May 1992 at Fresno, CA, at age 89.

     Basil Milton "Bill" Barbis is the son of Miltiades Basil Varvitsiotis and Dina Stika. Basil Milton "Bill" Barbis married Ephterpi Panas, daughter of (?) Panas and (?) Chaprales, on 29 January 1956 at Los Angeles, CA. Basil Milton "Bill" Barbis married Mary Alice Crabb on 2 May 1997 at Fresno, CA.

     George Milton Barbis is the son of Miltiades Basil Varvitsiotis and Dina Stika. George Milton Barbis married Patricia Quinn on 22 August 1957 at Tacoma, Washington.

     Milton Barbis was born on 18 June 1932 at Oakland, Alameda County, CA. He was the son of Miltiades Basil Varvitsiotis and Dina Stika. Milton Barbis married Kalliope "Callie" Papastefanou on 9 October 1952. Milton Barbis died on 14 October 1959 at Chicago, Illinois, at age 27.
