     Alice Bertram was the daughter of George Bertram. Her married name was Lawson. Alice Bertram married James Lawson Esq., son of William Lawson and (?) Horsley.

     William Lawson was the son of Robert Lawson. William Lawson, Esquire of Cramlington, County of Northumberland seized in fee-tail-male of half of the manor of Cramlington and Hamlet of Whitlaw held by the King in captite as the sizth part of one knights fee and also divers lands, etc. in Hertlaw, Morpeth, Bywell and other parts of the County of Northumberland in special fee-tail ob. 27 March 9 Henry VIII (1518). Inquisition post-mortem 19 June in the same year taken at Newcastle upon Tyne in the said County of Northumberland, etc. By his wife, the daughter of Richard Horsley Esq. of Thernham he had issue. William Lawson married (?) Horsley.

     Her married name was (?) Lawson. (?) Horsley married William Lawson, son of Robert Lawson.

     Thomas Lawson was the son of William Lawson and Agnes Cramlington. Thomas Lawson of Bywell was at the battle of Agincourt with Sir John Neville, heir male to his nephew William Lawson Esq. He died 2nd July 1489 at a great age, and was buried at Cramlington having married Isabella, daughter of John Killinghall of Middleton St. George Esq. living 1490 by whom he had issue. Thomas Lawson married Isabella Killinghall on 31 August 1480. Thomas Lawson died on 2 July 1489.

     Isabella Killinghall was born at Middleton, St. George. Her married name was Lawson. She married Thomas Lawson, son of William Lawson and Agnes Cramlington, on 31 August 1480.

     During reign of Henry VI of England (1421-71) acquired Cramlington Hall by marriage. His ancestors for several generations had owned estates in Northumberland Co. at Burwell, afterwards at Allendall. The Lawson Name

The surname Lawson is taken from 'Law' and denotes someone who is 'son of law'. The most likely source of the name is either from the name Lawrence believed to have originated from a person who lived near a laurel tree or from the Old English word hlaw meaning a hill and therefore a person 'the son of who lived on or near the hill'.

     Agnes Cramlington was born in 1407. She was the daughter of William Cromlington Esq. As of 1425,her married name was Lawson. Agnes Cramlington married William Lawson, son of John Lawson, in 1425. Agnes Cramlington died in 1461.

     John Lawson was the son of John Fil Thomas Lawson of Bywell. John Lawson of Bywell Co. Northumberland was witness to a deed of Walter de Tindall dated at Devilston 1374 and was executor to his father's will 8 Richard II 1386.

     John Fil Thomas Lawson of Bywell was the son of Thomas Lawson of Bywell. John fil Thomas Lawson of Bywell, against whom William de Akrigg and Margaret his wife claimed messuage, land etc. in Sedburgh in right of said Margaret 47 Edward III (ca. 1374); was a witness to a deed of Robert de Insula dated 41 Edward III and a juror at Corgridge 3 Richard II (ca.1485).

     Thomas Lawson of Bywell was the son of Robert Lawson. Thomas Lawesson was of Bywell Co. Northumberland living temp. Edward II (1224-1307) and Edward III (1307-1327).

     Robert Lawson was the son of Ralph Fil Thomas Lawesson.

     Ralph Fil Thomas Lawesson was the son of Thomas Lawesson. Was defendant in a plea of trespass 25 Henry III called Ralph fil Thomas Lawesson.

     This gentleman lived temp King John (1199-1216 A.D.) and had issue a son. Thomas Lawesson was born circa 1200.

     Henry O. Pugh married Agnes C. Nicewonger, daughter of Cummings S. Nicewonger and Agnes Helen Fraser. Henry O. Pugh was born in 1890. He died on 9 November 1948.

     Charles W. Geiser married Margaret Jessie Fraser, daughter of Donald L. Fraser and Agnes Keir, on 2 April 1891.

      Alexander Fraser also went by the name of Alec. He married Flora Lex Wells, daughter of James McMechen Wells and Susan Ann Block. Alexander Fraser was born on 6 October 1880. He was the son of Donald L. Fraser and Agnes Keir. Alexander Fraser died in July 1934 at SP Hospital, San Francisco, CA, at age 53. He was buried on 2 July 1934 at Tulare District Cemetery, Tulare, CA; NE Section, Block 1, Grave 237.

     Thomas Fraser was born on 6 October 1880 at Tulare, Tulare Co., CA. He was the son of Donald L. Fraser and Agnes Keir. Thomas Fraser died in 1943. He was buried on 5 May 1943 at Tulare Public Cemetery, Tulare, CA; CITY22, Blk 3, Grave 5.

     William Wallace Fraser was born on 30 May 1883 at Tulare, Tulare Co., CA. He was the son of Donald L. Fraser and Agnes Keir. William Wallace Fraser married Sylvia May Mercer, daughter of John Lanning Mercer and Mary Charlotte Horr, on 1 January 1905 at California. William Wallace Fraser died on 8 July 1924 at Martinez, Contra Costa, CA, at age 41. He was buried after 8 July 1924 at Tulare Public Cemetery, Tulare, CA.

     Daniel Fraser was born in 1872 at Scotland. He was the son of Donald L. Fraser and Agnes Keir. Daniel Fraser died on 9 June 1930 at Tulare, CA. He was buried on 11 June 1930 at Tulare District Cemetery, Tulare, CA; City Section, Block 22, Lot 3, Grave 7.

     (Child) Fraser was born in 1876. He died in 1876. He was the son of Donald L. Fraser and Agnes Keir. (Child) Fraser was buried on 20 October 1876 at Tulare District Cemetery, Tulare, CA; City Section, Block 22, Lot 3, Grave 2.

     Her married name was Fraser. Flora Lex Wells married Alexander Fraser, son of Donald L. Fraser and Agnes Keir. Flora Lex Wells was born circa 1880. She was the daughter of James McMechen Wells and Susan Ann Block. Flora Lex Wells died in 1941. She was buried on 5 January 1942 at Tulare District Cemetery, Tulare, CA; NE Section, Block 1, Grave 236.

     Lt. Charles Dudley Fraser was born in 1919. He was the son of Alexander Fraser and Flora Lex Wells. Lt. Charles Dudley Fraser died in 1944.

     Her married name was Lovett. Her married name was Pugh. Agnes C. Nicewonger was buried at unknown locaton; Marker at NE Section, Block 1, Grave 240, but records indicate subject not buried here. She married Henry O. Pugh. Agnes C. Nicewonger married (?) Lovett. Agnes C. Nicewonger was born in 1898. She was the daughter of Cummings S. Nicewonger and Agnes Helen Fraser.

     Alexandra Maria Nelson is the daughter of Otto I. Nelson and Flora Alexandra Fraser.

     James Welch married Ann Nelson, daughter of Otto I. Nelson and Flora Alexandra Fraser.

     (?) Borndorf (sp?) married Ann Nelson, daughter of Otto I. Nelson and Flora Alexandra Fraser.

     Katy Borndorf (sp?) is the daughter of (?) Borndorf (sp?) and Ann Nelson.
