Milo Bolling Abercrombie died on 22 August 1860 at age 54.

     Lawyer, Confederate Army officer, and legislator, was born in Macon County, Alabama. He was educated in Alexandria, Virginia, and read law in Tuskegee, Alabama. He was admitted to the bar in 1854 but later that same year moved to Madison County, Texas, then to Huntsville. In 1860 he was elected prosecuting attorney for Galveston, Grimes, Harris, Montgomery, and Walker counties. On January 1, 1860, he married Lavinia Chilton in Tuskegee, Alabama; the couple eventually had seven children. From January 28 until February 4, 1861, Abercrombie represented Walker County as a delegate to the state Secession Convention. During the Civil War he served as lieutenant colonel of Col Henry M. Elmore's Twentieth Texas Infantry. This regiment, organized in the spring of 1862, was composed primarily of middle-aged men, many of whom were prominent citizens. It was assigned to guard duty on the Texas Gulf coast from Galveston to the Sabine River and did not see duty outside of the state. It did, however, play an important role in the Confederate recapture of Galveston in January 1863. After the war Abercrombie returned to his legal practice at Huntsville and was elected to represent the Ninth District as a state senator in the Twentieth Legilature. He was reelected to a seat in the Twenty-first Legislature. He died at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Decmeber 23, 1891, and his body was returned to Huntsville for burial. Leonard Anderson Abercrombie was buried at Huntsville, Walker County, Texas. He was born on 1 December 1832 at Macon County, Alabama. He was the son of Milo Bolling Abercrombie and Sarah Lee Haden. Leonard Anderson Abercrombie lived in 1854 at Huntsville, Walker County, Texas. He married Lavinia A. Chilton on 1 January 1860 at Tuskegee, Alabama. Leonard Anderson Abercrombie died on 23 December 1891 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at age 59.

     R. A. Martin married John Comer Abercrombie, son of Milo Bolling Abercrombie and Sarah Lee Haden, on 3 March 1864. As of 3 March 1864,her married name was Abercrombie.

     Milo B. Abercrombie was the son of John Comer Abercrombie and R. A. Martin.

     Robert Haden Abercrombie was born on 11 September 1837 at Macon Co., Georgia. He was the son of Milo Bolling Abercrombie and Sarah Lee Haden. Robert Haden Abercrombie married Frances Rebecca Gray, daughter of William Leonidis Gray and Frances Satterwhite, on 9 January 1860. Robert Haden Abercrombie was in military service circa 1864 with the rank of Colonel, 45th Alabama Infantry, C.S.A. He died on 9 June 1891 at Gadsden, Alabama, at age 53.
